Jayden Rhodes
President

Eta Lambda, University of Alabama - Birmingham

Jayden Rhodes is a senior at the University of Alabama at Birmingham simultaneously pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Genetics and Genomic Sciences and a Master of Science degree in Multidisciplinary Biomedical Science. She is a published researcher, currently focusing on her thesis, “Investigating the role of RNA alkylation in temozolomide response of glioblastoma.” Since becoming a sister of the Eta Lambda chapter in Fall 2021, Jayden has served as a member of the Ways and Means Committee, Service Committee, Uniform Committee, Membership and Ritual Committee, and Sisterhood Committee. She is currently serving her second term as Chapter President and first term as Ritual Chair. Jayden is a dedicated member of the University’s band programs, playing clarinet in the Marching Blazers, Blazer Band, and Wind Symphony. Jayden is currently serving her second year as section leader for the Marching Blazers and as a member of the social media committee. She is also an active member of the UAB Clarinet Studio, where she is taught by her mentor of six years, Dr. Denise Gainey. Jayden is ecstatic to serve as the Southeast District President and can’t wait to help each and every chapter reach their goals. In her free time, Jayden enjoys reading, crafting, painting, playing Stardew Valley, and spending time with her rabbit, Juniper.

Carissa Kettering
Vice President of Membership

Alpha Omega, Florida State University

Carissa Kettering is a fourth-year at Florida State University, graduating in August with her Bachelor of Arts in Music and English with a concentration in Creative Writing. She plans to pursue a career in editing and publishing to support her cat, Margot! Carissa became a sister of the Alpha Omega chapter in Fall 2021, and since then, she has had the pleasure of serving as the chapter’s Segue Chair and Marketing Co-Coordinator for the chapter’s benefit concert For Greater Music, and she has served on the chapter’s executive board as Secretary and Vice President of Membership. She also previously served on District Council as Vice President of Special Projects. Outside of Tau Beta Sigma, Carissa has been involved with the Flute Association at FSU and has served as an editorial assistant for The Kudzu Review, FSU’s undergraduate literary magazine. Carissa primarily plays flute, but she also enjoys playing French horn and singing. She has been a member of FSU’s Wind Ensemble, Philharmonic Orchestra, Steel Pan Band, Choral Union, Flute Choir, Studio Orchestra, and more. She is excited to see what post-grad and Life Membership have in store for her! In her free time, Carissa enjoys playing Sims, reading, writing, dabbling in fiber arts, and cuddling with Margot.

Alpha Omega, Florida State University

Siobahan Berrian
Vice President of Special Projects

Theta Rho, Bethune-Cookman University

Siobahan Berrian is pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology. She is a member of the B-CU Marching Wildcats where she plays Clarinet. Since being initiated into the Theta Rho Chapter in the Spring of 2022 she has served as Recording Secretary, Vice President of Special Projects/ Focus on Five Liaison, Vice President of Membership, and President. She has also had the pleasure of being the chair of her chapters social committee this past year, which she enjoyed tremendously. Siobahan’s favorite thing about Tau Beta Sigma is that it has provided her an outlet to grow in leadership, sisterhood, and service! In her free time she likes to watch podcasts, listen to music, and go on adventures. Siobahan is excited to be your District VPSP and is looking forward to serving alongside her fellow sisters!

Nicole Deloach
Secretary - Treasurer

Eta Lambda, University of Alabama - Birmingham

Nicole Deloach is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in High School Education with a concentration in Social Sciences along with a minor in Social Work at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. They participated in the UAB Bands program through being a member of the Marching Blazers as well as the University’s Blazer Band where they play the clarinet. Since becoming a member of the Eta Lambda chapter in the Fall of 2021, Nicole has served a member on the Sisterhood, Service, Uniform, Founder’s Day and Joint Formal committees, Corresponding Secretary, Music Chair, as well as having the pleasure of serving as the chapter’s Vice President of Special Projects for two years.

Outside of leadership in the Eta Lambda chapter, Nicole had the privilege of holding leadership positions around UAB’s campus. These positions were, but are not limited to, serving as an Orientation Leader for incoming students as well as working in Student Housing. In their free time, Nicole likes to learn new skills, like doing their hair and nails, drawing, painting, playing competitive games, and spending time with their friends and family. Nicole’s favorite thing about Tau Beta Sigma is the overwhelming love, support, and sisterhood they experience every day not only throughout their chapter but throughout the entire district and sorority. It warms their heart to be able to serve as this year’s Secretary-Treasurer and witness the growth of the chapters and the sorority.

Katelynn Turney-Rudisill

Beta Xi, University of Florida

Katelynn Turney-Rudisill is pursuing a Bachelors of Music Education along with a minor in Education Sciences and a certificate in Music in Medicine at the University of Florida. They are a member of the UF Symphonic Band, and play the flute under the studio of Dr. Kristen Stoner. Since becoming a sister of the Beta Xi chapter in Fall 2022, they have been honored to serve as Fellowship Chair (2023) and Secretary (2024-Present). She has also served on the Fellowship, Correspondence, and Membership Education committees within Beta Xi. For the Southeast District, they have served on the Social Media Committee for the 2023-2024 school year, and are honored to serve as the SED Webmaster for this upcoming year.

Outside of Tau Beta Sigma, Katelynn is a Disability Ambassador where she advocates for disabilities across campus along with her service dog, Expresso. They also are active in the University community, working in the Student Union and with 4-H youth programs. They communicate with University Staff about programs for the betterment of the students, faculty, and visitors of the University of Florida and its extensions. Katelynn's favorite thing about Tau Beta Sigma is the sisterhood and community which helps them to affirm their belief that “with my sisters, I am best”. They are thankful and honored in service to the Southeast District and cannot wait for the upcoming year with their sisters!
